- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$150 Mini Sessions include: 30 minute natural light session; online private web gallery; 1 retouched digital images. $350 Value Portrait Sessions include: 1-1.5 hour session with optional outfit change; online private web gallery; 10 retouched digital images; 2 5×7 prints. $750 Heirloom Portrait Sessions include: 1-2 hour session with optional outfit change; optional second location; online private web gallery; 15 retouched digital images; (1) 8×12 and (2) 5×7 archival fine prints; (1) 16×20 canvas gallery wrap. Event photography starts at $150 per hour, with a full 8-hour day discounted to $1000.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a conversation to determine what the customer wants, and to establish exactly what gear and techniques will be required to fulfill the shared vision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ongoing education is essential to creating images that transcend to the level of fine art, and more importantly, capture the moment and spirit of the subject. To keep my skills sharp, I subscribe to several publications, and attend conferences and workshops. I'm a member of Professional Photographer of America (PPA,) Photo+, and WPPI, the premier industry event for Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
