- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For party gigs, I have a minimum of 2 hours. If you are more than 20 miles away, I may also ask for a travel fee. If you want to hire me for a party, I will require a 50% deposit and signed contract with the balance to be paid at the event. Individual readings are about 60 minutes and cost $75 per person. A reading from me should last you about 6-12 months.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been reading tarot cards for 30 years, and am self-taught. My readings are informed by shamanic and archetypal theories. I use a triangular layout based on the Pythagoras Theorem that allows me to give a logical overview of a complex issue/question.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A former roommate brought home a deck. When he moved out, he took the deck with him, and I bought one of my own on Halloween day, 1987. For the first couple of years, to learn my deck, I would sit down with a spread and all the different books I had and take notes on each reading. As I grew more confident, my readings became more intuitive.
