We've just worked with Karen for the first lesson. Karen seems very knowledgeable in dog training and my grand puppy responded positive to her for the session. I am looking forward to working with her in many sessions to come! She's positive and great to work with.

We adopted our little guy, Buddy, from a shelter in October of 2016. The poor guy was only ten months old and we were already his fourth (and forever!) home -- he had a lot of anxiety, he would tear things up if left alone for even a few minutes, and it was impossible to walk him due to all the pulling. When I found Karen, I was kind of at my wit's end. Karen called me back before the end of that day and we scheduled an evaluation. We went for seven sessions of private training, and not only is Buddy is a totally different dog now, but I'm a much better dog owner/Dad and our daughters are having a lot more fun with their little bro. Karen is obviously awesome at training dogs, but what she's really doing is teaching YOU all the techniques to be a good leader, which I really needed. Buddy is a much more confident and relaxed dog, and going on walks and playing with him are now really enjoyable for all of us and not mentally and physically exhausting. More great things about Karen: she's punctual, flexible, and very communicative. Also -- and this is important -- she totally knows what she's doing. She was firm but always very loving and gentle with Buddy. She loves what she does and she goes beyond the call of duty and I wish I would of met her sooner We continue our session tomorrow . I feel confident that we can continue and go even further with training (maybe we'll certify Buddy to be a Therapy " dog next, ), but occasionally I might need a pep talk to not feel bad about being "the boss." Karen has been able to read me very well, and even though tomorrow is our last session she makes me feel like I could text her any time if I had any additional questions or needed advice or a pep talk. The sessions were SO worth the investment!! Karen Thank you so much and I hope your ready for the next dog we are considering after the Magic you did working with Buddy .

There are many factors to choosing a dog trainer, and the other dog trainer seems to be excellent! I needed someone close by and it is so convenient that she is nearby. I think this is a great way to shop around and give people choices and it was so easy! Thank you, Michael Aranda

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing provides owners the added value of having pets trained in a familiar and secure environment. My experience has proven that behaviors are more easily corrected in a one to one situation verses group settings. Pricing may be adjusted to reflect the distance I must travel.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process involves a $25.00 fee to do a "Meet and Greet " with owner and pet. We can then set mutually agreed upon goals and begin the Training program that will result in happy owners and pets.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
