Steve was hired for a stand-up comedy performance to roast my husband for his 60th and to entertain the guests. Steve arrived on time and readily mingled with the guests exchanging conversations on interesting topics. He has an excellent sense of humor and his ability to mimic celebrities makes any conversation very funny and generates laughter. He was assigned to entertain an all Asean American crowd. He had developed all the pointers I had given him into interesting acts. His style of performance is very audience- inclusive and thus was very much enjoyed by all. We were very happy for an hour long laughter with Steve. He is very talented and hilarious - I would recommend him very enthusiastically.

Steven was very entertaining and the audience loved it. It should be noted that allaudience members were sober as this was a midday not for profit retreat.

Steve was the emcee/stand-up comic at a fundraising performance for the Branford Chorale (Branford, CT). It was a concert of 70's music, featuring performances by individual members of the Chorale as well as the Chorale itself. Steve's humor was appropriate to the setting and filled in the spaces between the musical numbers very well. Most importantly, he was a pleasure to work with, adjusting his routines to our needs rather than trying to impose his own agenda on us or to make the event all about him. His presence enhanced our performance greatly, and we hope to have him back for future fundraisers.

After having done a search on-line for 'comedians for hire' for my husband's surprise 40th bday I discovered Thumbtack and am So grateful! Within an hour I received a quote from a couple comedians, one of them being Steve. He was much more affordable and his Intro email to me was personalized and very professional. After reviewing his website I was quite impressed and turns out a friend of mine had seen him previously as well and said he was hysterical. The next morning I responded to Steve's email and he called back immediately. The evening of the event he arrived early and set up his speaker and microphone and he grabbed everyone's attention right away!! His impersonations were spot on and he kept everyone in stitches the entire time, being to sure to involve many of my guests as targets to the butt of his jokes! A great time was had by all and even the next day people were calling saying what a great party and wonderful idea to have a comedian.
