Allie Tamburello (she/her) is an NYC-based performer, songwriter, musician, and educator. I have worked with Allie on several creative projects and I am always blown away by her knowledge and understanding of music. Not only does she have incredible technique as a singer, but she is also an inspiring teacher. It is obvious she genuinely cares about her students because she is easily reachable outside of her lessons and she always encourages her students to reach their goals. All I can say is, she always goes above and beyond!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am an associate teacher at "Your Authentic Voice" created by the wonderful, Lauren Urso. (@yourauthenticvoice on socials!) In this studio, we strive to provide clients with a safe and welcoming enviroment that prioritizies the mental health of the artist in the process. I offer half hour lessons for $45 and hour lessons for $75! We have subscription packages available if you'd like to book multiple lessons and all of that can be done through the link on the website section of my Thumbtack!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 15 minute consultation for new clients via GoogleMeets! In this call, we will discuss your goals, any questions or concerns you have that may impact your studies and we make a game-plan of how to move forward! If you decide to book further, in our first lesson we will flesh out those goals a bit more and hit the ground running! Every client is different and has unique needs and as a coach, I strive to push them while still honoring and assessing where they are at that day and the ways in which I can best serve them. Regardless of level or age, I make sure that every student leaves feeling confident and good about themselves as a person and an artist.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre, as well as a music minor, from Cortland State University. I completed my post-graduate studies in Acting at the acclaimed Stella Adler Studio of Acting as a part of their professional conservatory class of 2018. Upon graduating, I have worked consistently in professional theatre all over the country. When Covid hit, I decided to put my love for the voice and teaching into practice and took the teacher training course at Meisner in Music, a program developed by Jillian Paige to help singers get out of their heads, apply the Meisner technique to their singing and put their best foot forward to deliver their best work time and time again.
