FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee varies considering the time, location, and amount of work needed to satisfy what you are looking for. For example, a wedding ceremony held on Labor Day weekend in Montauk Point would be more expensive than a quick civil ceremony on a Thursday in Plainview. We would just need to figure out what your ceremony looks like and then pricing can be established then.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We connect and have a quick discussion via text or phone. My intention with that call is to set up a Zoom or FaceTime so we can have a conversation about what you want and what I offer. If we decide to go forward, I take a deposit (50%) to hold the date. I then send two calendar invites, one for the actual wedding day (locks you in) and one for another Zoom/FaceTime meeting about 6 weeks before the big day to finalize the content of the ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been officiating weddings for close to 20 years!
