Ted MacKenzie

Introduction: Ted MacKenzie has been teaching drums and performing for over 40 years. Ted is a third generation drummer. After Berklee College of Music, Ted studied with Sonny Igoe, Henry Adler (co-athor of Buddy Rich's Modern Interpretation of Snare Drum Rudiments book) and Jim Chapin (arbitor of "The Moellar Method"). Ted revised "Buddy Rich's Modern Interpretation of Snare Drum Rudiments" in '05, authored "The Ultimate Drummer's Work Out' in '06 and in '09, authored "Buddy Rich's Rudiments Around The Kit" . Ted's students learn from the best drum methods in the world and are the first choice of band leaders and band directors. Ted's students include beginners to advanced. Jason Bittner /Shaddowsfall and John Fowler of Steelheart are among Ted's former students (see web site).
