FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All wedding packages include a free, designer's choice, toss bouquet or flower girl bouquet. At the end of the design session, I use the remaining stems to do up these personal flowers. I'm simply making good use of all flowers we purchased for your wedding package rather than ordering specific, extra flowers for these secondary items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I recommend that brides search pinterest for wedding flower ideas that represent your wedding colors and overall theme. They are great conversation starters for our initial meeting. At that first meeting we can discuss favorite flowers you may like, as well the number and size of personal flowers you need, ceremony flowers, and reception decor. I'll bounce back with a quote, and we'll tweak everything from there until we get it just as you need it! If we are meeting at my place, we'll even take a tour among the flowers to see if there's anything that strikes your fancy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned a great deal from my mother, who took floriculture in college. And interned with a local florist as well. After several years of doing wedding flowers, I continue to fine tune my skills and techniques thru networking with other flower farmers, florists, and colleagues. I'm always on the hunt for unusual greens and flowers to include in my flower gardens and have even reached out to Thailand once to get the ultimate in orchids for one of my many special brides!!
