- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When fruits are out of season pricing will vary because of that factor. Again we try to keep our pricing down so everyone can afford our special treats. So we improvise with other items so if someone wants strawberries and they are more costly in the winter we'll suggest they try marichino cherries for a great similar dipping item. They love both so no one loses ever~~
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Read!!! Read!!! Trade shows~~ read!!! Think of new ways to capture the moments~ speaking to customers to know exactly what they want is the best education in this field. Keeping abreast on new ideas through the internet and trade shows is also a great way of finding interesting and new ways to develop the eye candy that this business is about~~
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Just liking to satisfy people and pleasing them. There is real gradification in doing just that. Service with a smile really helps too. If i think one of my staff needs to be reminded-i text them before an event and remind them to smile while working. It always works!!! Just to say "smile"
