Introduction: My sessions are completely customized. I am not a point and shoot photographer- every session is custom designed, including hand-painted backdrops and hand-made props. From the moment you book with me, I am always researching and planning to make your photographs tell YOUR story. I love capturing that just-right moment. I love seeing a client smile or laugh when they see their images, because it reminds them of a particular cherished moment, or because the expression on their child's face is just perfect. I love being a part of everyone's family by being there to catch those special moments.

Kate photographed my wedding this past April. She was very easy to work with and came with creative ideas to all of our meetings. all of the photos we received from Kate we gorgeous and turly captured the beautiful day and fun we had at our wedding. Kate did an amazing job with our family/newborn shoot. She was great with our two week old and never made me feel rushed, even when he kept waking up with hiccups and crying, and the poses were adorable. We also had our two year old running around wild and she still managed to get cute moments of both kids. She is amazingly creative and talented, we look forward to doing our next photos with her in 6 months!

I am ALWAYS reading, attending seminars and watching webinars, on the newest photography practices out there.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have ALWAYS loved taking pictures. When my daughter was born, in invested in a great camera because I wanted to capture her life on "film". As I started taking her pictures, I received so many compliments on the images that people began asking me to take their pictures. Over the years, it has turned into a business that I LOVE and am always excited to do.
