FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am happy to work within a customer's personal budget. After a consultation, we can determine the best style of session. To give a starting place, a typical family portrait session includes a pre and post consultation, a one hour session, an online gallery and about 15 high-resolution edited images for your continued use. This starts at $375. We can go up from there to include more images, framed fine-art style prints, a longer shoot, or albums. OR, we can work within a smaller budget to design a mini-session that works for you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To begin: We will start with a phone call, a virtual visit, or in person visit. I strive to get to know you, and your personal vision for the photo session. At times I may send a questionnaire or we may simply chat for a while to get to know each other. After that: If we decide to work together, and after a deposit, we may bounce ideas back and forth or I may send pallet suggestions for wardrobe. During the session: When we have the perfect time/location/style and concept for the session, we will lock in the date. At times I may bring an assistant/makeup artists etc. for larger sessions. I also really love to work with simple natural light and my trusty camera and lens to allow for a purity of catching moments. I believe your photography session should be filled with joy. I LOVE what I do and I hope to make the feel most like hanging out with a good friend. After the session: We will meet again (in person or virtually) to go over the images and choose the best ones for you. At this time, we may also decide on further editing of images. I will then deliver the images to you by mail or digitally.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
