- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
t is important to know that for a typical two story home in New York can vary greatly in price. I could come up with a quote as low as $2000-$2500, or as high as $6000-$8000 depending on the materials being used, the level of prep work required, and complexity of the job. This is why we do a detailed written estimate, to confirm you are getting exactly what you want, and we can provide multiple options you can compare side by side.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We are experts are residential exterior painting. Most of the homes we paint are 7-20 years old, getting their 2nd or 3rd paint job ever. Common problems on the house are peeling paint on trim boards, door trim, window trim, garage trim, fading paint on the south or sunny sides of the house, and cracking joints where boards meet. These are all common problems in New York and can be fixed very easily. If they are not fixed, however, they can lead to expensive carpentry problems.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Trust yourself. Hire the company that you are most comfortable with and make sure everything is in a written agreement.
