We needed a storyboard artist to help with a fundraising pitch for our short film, Attempted Burglary, in 2013. We were impressed by Alejandro's past work and felt his "comic book-esque" style would be a good fit for our project. In essence, we needed a suite of "show pieces." Frames that were more detailed and elaborate then we might have used in our actual production. We weren't disappointed. Alejandro was professional, friendly and listened to our needs. He treated our relatively low budget movie with big picture respect. His frames came in ahead of deadline and he was flexible when we requested edits. We were especially impressed with Alejandro's ability and willingness to adjust the complexity of each frame to suit the needs of the shot. With the help of his art work, we met our fundraising goal and our short has screened at several festivals around the country. We have and will continue to recommend Mr. Gonzalez.

Alejandro is a marvel. He took some vague sketches and concepts I have for a feature film and fleshed them out into full-fledged designs that really sell my movie the way I envisioned it. He has an excellent sense of composition, what draws viewers into a shot, and throughout the process of a piece -from initial sketches to fine-tuning final color- he's always looking for new details or ways to make it more dynamic. He works hard to really invest himself in his work, and that shows. You will not find someone easier or more ideal to work with on a project!

Alexandro and I collaborated on a film presentation project for a pitch to Sony Pictures Classic and other distributors creating a concise storyboard experience of the project. The collaboration was really effective and Alexandro is not only great at delivering great artwork that gets the message out, but also is easy to work with and very reliable and punctual.

I saw a demand after college. My second gig was from an ad agency, and when I finished the project I saw myself doing it for a career.
