Editing my review bc Classic made it right! They proactively called me for maintenance on my system, and we were actually ready for another unit in our spare bedroom (now baby room!) and decided to give them another chance. We were really happy with them this time around, and all of our units are working great. I would recommend the company, but customers should be aware and prepared for the decisions that will have to be made when installing these systems in their homes.***So far I think the units work fine, but the installation was frustrating. First, the main unit was large and initially they didn't think it would fit where we needed it between my windows - in the end, I was assured it would after they took some measurements. They started the work. When I came in to check on the progress, I see they had cut into my window molding to make it fit!! Honestly there probably wasn't a way around this but we had a LONG conversation before the work started and I was assured it would fit. I asked why they didn't call me to tell me they would be cutting into my molding and they said "we told our manager to, but he was very busy!!" I would have liked a head's up about this modification of my home! The other annoying issue was that I told the guys where I wanted the unit in the bedroom, a bit further in so that it wasn't so close to the door and so that it wouldn't blow directly on me in bed, but they convinced me it was better to place it in a different spot closer to the door. Now that we're using the units it's clear that my preference would have been much better for functionality and efficiency, but probably more difficult for the workers (clearly why they convinced me otherwise). They also had opinions on where to put the heat pump to make the job easier too. For other customers, I recommend being confident and firm about where you want everything placed because there's really no turning back and when you're spending a fortune there's no reason to cut corners. To top things off, they also left all the garbage from the duct work in front of my house, including garbage and recyclables from their lunch thrown in the bags. We asked for a call back from the salesman who had sold us the units to discuss all this, and he never called. So I figured I would let the company know here the issues I had.
