- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every budget is different based on the shoot requirements and the clients budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I speak with my clients over the phone. I get the basic requirements of their photo needs. We talk budget and their ideas for the shoot. Dates and location. Then they come into the studio for a more detailed discussion. Logistically we work out when & where we will be shooting... either in my studio or on location. We discuss Props, Wardrobe, Hair & Make-up, backgrounds, lighting. I also offer up some creative concepts or suggestions for the shoot. Then we get busy individually doing Pre-Production of the shoot... i.e. sourcing wardrobe & props, painting backgrounds, a location reccie... The the shoot day arrives and we have a ball! Soon afterwards I send the client thru a PDF of all the edited images. Then chose their favorites and I retouch them. I then i send my client (JPEGS, TIFF) images via Wetransfer. The End
