I should have written this review a year ago, but it has taken this long to try to find words to describe how phenomenal this band is. After seeing our first Doll Parts performance we knew we had to have them play at our wedding, and we were so dang excited when they said they would. From the beginning they were incredibly professional, accommodating, and open to any ideas and plans we had for the ceremony and reception, and they even offered some suggestions of their own when we needed advice. Because they have so much experience playing all kinds of events, they really knew how best to work within the space that we had booked and within our schedule. They proactively worked with the venue to ensure they had all the hookups and equipment needed and they were there setting up when we arrived, so it really took a lot of stress off our plates knowing they had everything under control at every step.
And then from their first song as the wedding party walked in, they just knocked it out of the park! The music fit our personalities and the whole vibe of the day perfectly. We really wanted everyone to dance their asses off during the reception, and Doll Parts totally made that happen. Even my husband's grandparents - in their 90's - were shaking their thing from the first song to the last. They had even secretly worked with a friend of ours for a special rendition of "I Will Always Love You" that was hilarious and heartfelt at the same time. It just created such a fun and joyous atmosphere that everyone shared in, and our guests were talking about it for months afterward. It was one of the most memorable parts of the day (along with the moment when Maggie grandly and unexpectedly ascended a spotlit staircase during the finale song and everyone lost their MINDS!) I wish I could get married every weekend and have Doll Parts play.

This is not your typical gimmicky cover band. Doll Parts pay tribute to Dolly Parton while bringing their own style to the stage. These wickedly talented musicians know how to get a party started--they played my wedding and a year later I am still getting raves about the band. Doll Parts are a glitter bomb ready to go off!
Logistically, the band was incredibly professional and prompt. Communication was clear, efficient, and courteous throughout the booking process.
