Melissa Robin Photography

Introduction: Melissa Robin is based in NYC, but is available for travel worldwide. Melissa specializes in fine portrait and wedding photography. Her work can be described as both moving and creative. She strives to capture the heart, soul and personality of her subjects. Most of her work is photographed on location, whether it be a favorite beach or in the comfort of your own backyard. "A person's environment tells a story about who they are; I want to be the storyteller. People feel comfortable in an environment they are accustomed to, and that's where I want to capture photographs, a place where I can capture a subject's true personality." Melissa is a graduate of the intensive 10-month program at Hallmark Institute of Photography. Her honors include HIP top ten percent portfolio, The Best in College Photography Annual 2008 (finalist), first place editorial -- environmental in the 2008 International Photography Awards, and an honorable mention. Her work has also been featured in the Doctors Without Borders Print Exhibit and Benefit Sale. Her photography is now on permanent collection at Hallmark Museum of Contemporary Photography.
