Having had a career in retail store design, I feel I have a decent understanding of taking on my home design projects, but was immensely surprised by the difference in service when one doesn't have a million-dollar project to elicit a contractor's best performance. It has been a frustrating experience finding trustworthy and reliable people to help with my home projects. Having had my most recent home project (and largest) turn awry, I thought it would be impossible to find someone to not only finish the job, but repair someone else's mistakes. Enter Mr. Dorman. Not only did this gentleman clearly identify where the previous contractor had gone wrong (including other errors I had not previously identified), he was also completely upfront about what it would take to get it right. He managed my expectations from the very beginning even if he told me things I didn't want to hear. Additionally, having sympathy for me, and at every possible juncture, he advised on ways for me to save money. Because of his thorough explanations and his ability to articulate his vast experience with the various finishes involved, I hired him. I would only continue to be impressed with his punctuality and work ethic. Though I love his honesty, I am still even more moved by the obvious enjoyment he gets out of his work. His face lights up when offering creative solutions and different techniques with which we would eventually experiment and enjoy fantastic results. I feel blessed that I have finally found a general contractor for all of my home projects. What a relief!

Brooklyndorman renovated the interior of our home in Brooklyn NY.He did new ceilings,moldings and painting of the rooms.He also did my main bathroom,install marble tiles,gecuzzie,double bath sinks and shower.He also did my big modern kitchen.My wife and I was 100 % satisfied with the work he done.We would recommend this company in a heart beat to any one looking for a trustworthy,respectable contractor.

Darren came to my home to evaluate our projects. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Because he knew that I didn't have a large budget, he give me options that I hadn't thought about to help with the cost of the renovations. I have some financial constraints at the moment, but when I'm ready to begin the project, I would definitely use Darren and his team, and it's good to know they have financing available.

Darren Dorman is one of those rare contractors that takes pride in his work. Hi prices are always fair and he has a great attention to detail. I have used him to build custom made built in seating, fabricating new closet doors, Venetian plaster and painting. He also does electric and general contracting work

I was turning over my 1500 sq ft loft for rent and called Darren on the suggestion of my building manager. Darren came the next morning at 7.00 A.M. He could see the place was a wreck and that I was in a jam and started sending me help that same day. Darren stayed with the project for the next 4 days including The weekend. His crew performed a variety of tasks including replacing a large A.C. Unit, electrical work and refinishing a floor getting rid of refuse and painting. Darren was pleasant to work with and is well staffed. There were no delays he had some good suggestions and his price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Darren for any project.
