FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer convenient in-home lessons: $30 for a half-hour and $45 for the hour. Discount prices are also available for group lessons and bulk-lesson packages!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've had the good fortune of working with a handful of teachers, both music and otherwise, that have thoroughly changed my life for the better. Teachers can be a real force for good in society, exposing their students to new ideas, a deeper understanding of the world, and even, in the best cases, new heights of potential to strive towards.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Guitar lessons should be a fun and inspiring break from your routine. If you find yourself no longer looking forward to your weekly lesson, and perhaps even start dreading making that trek (or having that teacher-visit as the case may be), chances are you've picked an instructor that is too inconvenient for you and your busy schedule, doesn't match your personality, or both. If you want to stick with guitar over the long term, choosing a teacher based on convenient location and good interpersonal chemistry is what it's all about.
