What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no complicated pricing system for my service. I charge an hourly rate and my pricing tends to be very accurate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
no, it is not necessary, but I do read magazines, and I also talk to other people in the field for tips and ideas on how to be a better cleaner.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I noticed that I enjoyed being in a clean apt as opposed to a dirty one. I also enjoy cleaning with organic cleaning solutions.
What types of customers have you worked with?
1 bedroom apts, 2 bedroom apts, usually residential and not commercial but I am open and available to clean an office. I have also cleaned 3 home studios.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently, I took the time to clean all the surfaces of a 1 bedroom apt that the guy thought would only take 1.5 hours! All surfaces were wiped clean. bathroom was thoroughly scrubbed for the prevention of mold and mildew. the floors were swept and mopped. My client was very satisfied.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you understand the type of cleaning that I'm capable of doing and that we have clear communication from the beginning.
Always do your homework and make sure that you have the necessary cleaning supplies as the work will not be performed to your expectations if I don't have the right tools and if I take a lot longer as you may rush me for another appointment!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What I wish customers knew about me is that from the beginning, I'm upfront and very honest with them. I'm not looking to cheat them, con them or try to get away with not cleaning or doing the work that they've asked me to clean. If I find that they have overpaid me, for the next cleaning, I'll give them the extra time that they've overpaid on even if they were generous about offering me more money for my time.
Cleaning is a very labor intensive endeavor. When I am not cleaning for my clients, I'm cleaning for myself and what I do for my clients, I also do for myself.
Using organic cleaning solutions is much better for your health as well as the health of the laborer because you can minimize future health problems like asthma, allergies, hormonal changes due to the chemicals used in non-organic cleaning materials.
