FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes occasionally, I will take several classes at Parsons or NYU, I recently took another sewing class upon the existing skills that I have. I can upholster, refinish natural materials and sew drapes and pillows.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love doing interior design and have been doing it for a while for friends and family, but only as a hobby. I actually have a business degree and was working in the corporate world for a while. When I had gotten laid off in 08 and just bought my home I had nothing but creativity to make my home work. I decided to go back to school and got accepted to the Prestigious Parson School of Design and so that was confirmation alone that I had talent. Upon completion and working with many design firms , I decided to launch my own business and have been successfully working on referrals for the past 6 years while raising my baby boy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've done mostly living spaces such as Living/Family room, Master Bedrooms, Nurseries, Basements and several bathrooms and kitchens.
