On the phone everything seemed good and the price was good too. The workers he sent were nice and patient. The main negative is that the person who suns the business should understand that no customer likes surprises. They started breaking the furniture down to pieces to move them to the new place and before they take anything out of the apartment, they brought me a contract and here is were I was so pissed off. I was charged an hour and a half travel time at the same rate as if they were working. Plus 65 dollars for gas. Plus 12.7 and 32 and 38 for the tolls the truck passed. So here we have 275.2 just for the guys and the truck to come to my place (This was never mentioned on the phone). For wrapping the mirrors, it was 25 dollars each. All they used for the mirrors was duck-tape and cartons which for sure never cost 25 dollars.
In addition to all that, there was %25 added to the whole amount as taxes and fees !!
I can't believe this one is true.
All this didn't add up for me and I contacted the manager, but got no good results.
I never had a job where I got paid for the travel time neither was given money for tolls and gas. And of course there were no receipts to show any of that. Paid almost 900 dollars for two bedrooms and two coaches ... if you want to be fooled and robbed contact those people and let them do the work for you !

They did the same thing to me today . Was told $65 per hour. Tolls gas insurance not included . No worries before they came in my We live in the shallowford trace apartments next to the YMCA. When u turn into the complex make a right towards the gate. Punch on "#239" that that intercom will call me so that I can buzz you in. We are in the 500 building which is in the curve that bears left. 3rd floor. Apartment number 537. There is a mat outside our door that says " welcome." The address is 537 pembrook lane, chattanooga,tn 37421 I took a picture of the drivers lic. Was expired . Took note. They added on top of my signature all the additional charges and I told them no. At that point my new neighbor the cop pulled up. I mentioned as auch when the bill came up to 472 dollars instead of the expected 140 . I did not pay them 472. I paid them 195 and tipped the guys bc it's not there fault their boss tries to scam people.

I ordered 3 men and a 20' truck for my move. They showed up 1:30 hours late with 2 men and a 16' truck. I texted Mark and asked him why. His only response was "Transmission problem". I then asked what if it doesn't fit. He replied "2 trips". The movers insisted that it will all fit and "don't worry". Well it didn't all fit and I had to make 6 additional trips with 2 cars.
Before they started working, they asked me to sign a contract. On the contract I had to pay 1.5 hours of labor for their drive to my place and all the tolls for them to show up from Brooklyn. This was not what Mark told me when I first contacted him. The movers said they had to drive from Brooklyn yet Marks company is in North Jersey where I was located. They also told me I had to pay $140 insurance. I told them no, its included. I even showed them the oneonlymoving.com website and they said its different. At this point I was very upset (but had to move that day) and told them I had to call Mark. Well he never answered his phone, his voicemail no longer worked and he stopped answering my texts. I was strong armed into signing the contract as I had no other options.
The 5 hour move that should have only cost $327 ($65/hr plus a $2 toll) ended up being $725 and then the guys asked for a tip. Who does that? They told me they are just workers and only get paid $14 and $10 an hour. I told them its not fair their boss treats them that way. I felt a little bad for them so I gave them $40 which was all the cash I had left on me.

Be sure to find out all cost up front because they don't tell you until your things are on the truck and they meet you at the delivery location. It cost to wrap your furniture, they charge toll and gas and even will add in a tip amount already. Umm not ok. They guys were nice but i felt as s whole they were trying to deceive me and take advantage. I would never use them again or recommend them.

I agree with other review. Stay away from these guys, you will end up paying double. I have to move within NJ, a local move. The guy on the phone said that he has a truck in Edison NJ, so no travel fee. But when the movers came, they told me that they came all the way from Brooklyn!!!! What!? So, they said that I have to pay for tolls, gas, 2.5 hours travel time, packing material + hourly rate. When I refused, the same guy on the phone said that he won't move me at all. Horrible. Beware!
