FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is a flat "Mobile Service Fee" based on your location, plus the standard New York State notary fee. This ensures you get a professional who comes to you, on your schedule. My mobile service fee covers my travel time, mileage, and appointment coordination. This is agreed upon before I head your way so there are no surprises. Brooklyn/Queens: Starts at $25 ($25–$65). Long Island/Staten Island: Starts at $35 ($35-$75+). Urgent / After-Hours / Holidays: Additional fee applies. Notary fee per signature is $2.00 per signature (As regulated by NY State Law). Note - This is separate from the travel fee. $10-$25 per online signature. I understand things happen! The first 15 minutes of wait time at the signing location are free. After that, a fee of $5 (e.g., $5) per 15-minute block applies to respect other scheduled clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make notarizing your important documents easy by coming directly to you—whether that’s your home, office, a hospital, or a local coffee shop. We start with a brief conversation (via Thumbtack message or phone) to confirm the details. I will ask: What type of document needs notarization? (e.g., Affidavit, Power of Attorney, Trust, etc.) How many signatures are required? Where are you located? Do you require any witnesses? Based on this, I provide a clear, upfront quote that includes my travel fee and the per-stamp state regulated fee. What type of document needs notarization? Appointment Confirmation Once we agree on a time and location, I will send a confirmation. I will also remind you of the two most important rules: Do not sign the document until I am there to witness it. Ensure all signers have a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, etc.). 3. The Meeting I arrive promptly at the scheduled location. I will verify the identity of all signers using their IDs to ensure compliance with state laws. 4. The Signing I will guide you through the document to ensure all dates and fields are filled out correctly. Once I witness the signing, I will apply my official seal and signature. 5. Payment & Completion Payment is accepted via [Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Credit Card, etc.]. You are left with a fully executed, legally notarized document, ready for use!
