Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Hi! I am a professional pianist, composer, bandleader and experienced music educator. As a professional musician I have recorded 12 critically acclaimed albums, as both a bandleader and sideman. I have toured extensively in the US, China, South Korea, Nepal, Costa Rica, and all over Europe, and perform regularly in various venues in New York City with different bands and projects. I performed at prestigious venues and festivals, such as the European Parliament, New York Jewish Museum, Jazzmandu Festival, Ueberjazz Festival, Elbjazz Festival, JazzOpen Festival, and many more. Originally from Hamburg, Germany, I moved to New York City in 2017 as a Fulbright scholar with the mandate to contribute to the intercultural understanding between the US and Germany. In this time I had the great opportunity to teach Jazz/Pop Piano courses for undergraduate students at the New York University, while graduating myself with a Master of Music in Jazz Instrumental Performance from the NYU in 2019. My style of teaching always seeks to meet the students individual needs and interests as personalized as possible. Whether you are a beginner of any age, looking to gain basic skills and a fundamental understanding of the piano, or an advanced player aiming to make that next step towards a more rounded musicianship, I always enjoy sharing all my professional experience in order to enable you to express yourself with music and unfold your full creative potential. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Can't say enough good things about Noah. Noah is very skilled at his craft, and his passion for music comes through at each lesson. He personally tailors his teaching style to your goals and has great attention to detail. Noah explains not only how to sound good, but why things sound good. He does a fantastic job providing relevant musical examples for every topic we cover. Even coming from a classical piano background, I still learn new things about music theory at every lesson (and he makes it fun!). I've really enjoyed working with Noah, especially with his kind and patient demeanor. Most importantly, Noah has helped me express myself through music more authentically, without having to overthink everything. If you have the opportunity, I definitely recommend working with Noah.

As someone who’s was classically trained to play the piano, I had no idea how to play a single note that wasn’t written on a sheet in front of me despite playing for over two decades. I’ve been working with Noah for close to a year and it’s been amazing! I’ve learned so much about jazz, improvisation and music theory. Noah is able to break things down to small exercises when need to be to make improvising less stressful. He’s been flexible in accommodating my busy schedule when need be and I look forward to our classes every week. I highly recommend taking classes with Noah, especially if you’re like me with some classical training but not know how to get into jazz!

Even before our lessons began, Noah sent me free materials to get started. And after just a few classes with him, I am playing better than I thought I could! He takes extra care to go over technique, and he never shies away from explaining music theory when I ask questions. Plus the classes are fun and inspiring! I definitely recommend Noah.

Noah has been a fantastic teacher. He really pushes me to be the best musician I can be. I had a classical piano and jazz saxophone background and wanted to venture into jazz piano. He was able to bring me up to speed in filling in the gaps of music theory I had to let me bring alive the music in my head in my improvisation. You'll have a blast learning from Noah.

Noah is great! My son started a few weeks ago with no experience or enthusiasm to play piano. And now he is excited about practicing because he gets to learn his favorite songs! And he is making notable progress already. We are very happy with Noah’s fun, laid back style, and his deep musical knowledge and talent! We love that he can figure out and teach the music for any song.
