Introduction: Hi, I'm Tara Donaldson, a new photographer in NYC specializing in motherhood and maternity photography. When my son was born, I saw the world with new eyes and my focus shifted to preserving every fleeting moment of the beauty of his life and our bond. Now, I want to do the same for others: be a small part of capturing those moments, that unspeakable, all-consuming love, and translating it into art that will become memories for your children and their children. My focus is storytelling; capturing love and life. My style is emotive, like bottling an intimate moment to save forever. I won't pose you, but rather allow you to be in a state of love or play or laughter. I can also provide prompts for those keen for a bit of guidance. I shoot in natural light and natural settings, either in-home or outdoors, weather permitting. Studio rental is also an option for clients who prefer it. I will provide wardrobe guidance and can also provide some pieces for use during the shoot. I will always take the time to make sure what we create is something you'll cherish for a lifetime.
