- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I always enjoy having a conversation that will build a strong working relationship. I like to have a clear understanding of the client's entrepreneurial or professional goals. Then, I'll discuss the project they want to complete. When I begin the project, I send drafts as they are completed, asking for feedback from the client. Once I've completed the project, I follow-up with a list of suggested future projects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to holding a MSED in Secondary Education and an MFA in Creative Writing, I have taken extensive courses in the editing process, public relations and writing for online media.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Fifteen years ago I began revising resumes and cover letters for my friends and family. Soon I realized I could help others create content that spoke to their professionalism.
