FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing largely depends on the job. I try to estimate jobs to pay me $40-$50/ hour... but that varies. If someone prefers me to work at a flat hourly rate, that would be $42/hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll generally set up a meeting to check out the work that needs to be done, explaining how and when it will be performed. Also I try to explain any issues that may arise during the process of performing the work. I'll give a free estimate and wait to hear from the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first electrical experience was as a nuclear trained electrician in the Navy. Upon my honorable discharge in 1995, I began working as an industrial electrician. In 2000, I began working as an electrician for the state in the CSEA union. Upon receiving my master electrician license in 2011, I began focusing more on residential electrical, with a few commercial jobs also.
