FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I currently charge $100 per hour for shooting photographs and $50 per hour for post processing. Really, post processing is where all the magic happens. I also have a low level aerial photography pole which costs a little more because of the risk of lifting $5,000 worth of gear 30 feet in the air. My prices are very competitive for my skill level.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Photography is an art. And the artist needs to understand what the client would like to create. The more time you invest in an image, the more you can perfect it. But time costs money so you also need to understand what is most important to the client and what their budget is. So time spent communicating with a new customer means everything. Please help me to know what you want and if I do I will be able to impress you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Again, as photography is an art, education can only do so much. You really need to just have raw talent. I have 20+ years of experience as a photographer and that teaches me to be able to handle just about anything and make it look its absolute best.
