When I lost my second part time job this last Summer I found myself under great tension, uncertainty and even a great sadness. But suddenly I received a call from Douglas Jack and the storm began to calm within me. I didn't get another part time job, but with his calm and wise words Douglas helped me understand that I can do anything I wanted within my capacity and potential. I decided to obtain an advanced degree in my field; I applied and was accepted, and will begin this Fall. What impresses me about Douglas Jack is his patience, the serenity and wisdom with which he speaks to me letting me know he is there for me. He never gave up on me even when I was giving up on myself, and it's due to his efforts, his dedication that I am beginning this next step in my life, going back to school. My Saturday supervisor tells me that this Advanced Certificate in Grief and Bereavement Counseling will open doors for me. What would have improve my experience?
