I wrote to her to schedule an appointment which she initially never responded to. She then reached out to me the night before the previously scheduled appointment (scheduled through Thumbtack) to confirm that she was still coming. This was all because she would be charged $100 from Thumbtack as a lead fee. I was no longer available because she never confirmed. I then asked her to come on Wednesday (the day I had out of town guests arriving) to clean before their arrival. She confirmed for 1 pm. Then she no called no showed and provided me with a phone number that is not connected. I then had to scramble to try to find emergency cleaning service for that day.

Said she was going to show up at 9am. Texted me the day of and said it would be noon. Later she said she was running late but gave me her word she would get it done that day. Then she says it would be too much to do that day and that she wanted move it to the next day at 9 am. The next morning comes around and she ghosts me. Do not waste your time!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don’t charge a pet fee. My prices are mainly based off of how many bathrooms you would like to be cleaned and the detailing that you are asking for . Deep cleans are a little more but like I tell everyone before I accept a job “ I’m willing to work with you if the price doesn’t work for u and my customer is my number one priority “ so no matter the price I will never leave the job until your 1,000% satisfied”
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have loved to clean my whole life! I’ve always wanted to start my own cleaning businesss and I finally found a website that could help me get my business off the ground.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. I’ve worked with customers that are very specific with detailing .I’ve worked with customers that get very strict about what they want. I’ve also worked with customers that were having a hard time just with life and needed someone with a good heart and compassion to help them get things in order. I’ve worked with so many different types of people and thats what makes this job so amazing. You meet the most whole hearted people from so many different walks of life!
