FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning ... and constantly looking to keep the music fresh. On the dancing side of the equation ... I am either training with fabulous instructors, including World class coaches, or teaching Ballroom dance, on an average of 10 hours each week. It certainly keeps me on my toes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I danced.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a Ballroom music DJ I strongly suggest that the entertainer be a Ballroom dancer. The feel of the music, tempo, blending of dance styles, and Ballroom mood are so important to your event. Anyone can purchase music, a player, some lights and speakers. The soul of Ballroom resides in the souls of Ballroom dancers. Be it Waltz and its elegance, Salsa and its steamy movements, Tango and its passion, each individual dancer shares a common sense. That sense, that soul, is is most successfully joined together by an entertainer who shares this common experience.
