Introduction: Being confused by math, if left untreated, can lead to hating math. After tutoring more than 300 students over 15 years, I can help anyone unhate math. I have helped students raise their GMAT & GRE quantitative scores by 30+ percentiles, SAT scores by 300-400 points, ACT scores by 4-7 points and helped students who were failing jump to A's. I have helped students get admitted to their top choices including the Yale School of Management, Columbia, NYU and Vanderbilt. I take pics of each problem we do and send them at the end of each session. I use a tablet with a pen as you can see in the above pic and in the 200 videos on my YouTube channel.

During my Sophomore year of High School I did poorly on my midterm and my grade was brought down significantly. My grades had always been at least decent, but after the test I started being tutored by Matthew. Within a month, my grades were consistently in the 90s, higher than ever before. That was a year ago and I can still say the same. For an affordable price, not only does Matthew help you improve your math grades, but he also gives you some good laughs and is a very down to earth person, taking away the boredom that comes with most tutors. If it wasn't for Matthew, my grades would be down and I wouldn't be in the accelerated math class that I'm in. I heavily recommend him for any kind of Math tutoring.

My daughter has been getting Math tutoring from Matt Sullivan for two years. Matt is an ideal tutor. He is very patient, he can explain a concept several different ways until a student understands. Some tutors take too active of a role in "helping" with homework , which does not result in good test scores. My daughter started out as a struggling C student in Geometry and is now getting As in Algebra 2 at a very demanding prep school. Matt's approach is very low key and he helps build a student's confidence level , which is a key to good test taking.

Mathew Sullivan is a genius when it comes to math and never fails to help me understand and grasp the topic in which we are reviewing.
