You might meet Zach, see how young he is, and put that against someone with years of experience and pass him up. That would be a huge mistake. He came in this past week and laid flooring on my first floor. Not only that, but there was no transitions from room to room. That is very difficult to do and he completed it perfectly. The attention to detail is what I was most happy about.
I will be using him again for future projects with my house. I couldn’t be happier.

I don't normally write reviews. This is my first one for anything paid for. I don't do this...not for Amazon or restaurants or apps. I don't do social media... at all. Ever. I prefer four dimensions over two but I digress. My point is that for me to take actual time to write this MEANS something. I hope it helps you make the right decision if you need a house painted. My husband and I were preparing to sell our home. Our goal was to erase our family's presence entirely before selling it by moving out and repainting it. Though that presence was wonderful and warm while living in it, we wanted it to feel like a fresh start for another. We had limited time to get this done with a deadline. We contacted a few painters directly. It was extremely frustrating with misaligned schedules and estimates that weren't clear, concise, or reasonable. We, meaning I, the wife, found Zach through Thumbtack after I watched my husband grow frustrated waiting for the other painters to respond. Teamwork makes the Dreamwork. My husband gave me the high five and go for it. So, Zach came to the house to take a look and give an estimate. He measured and wrote down everything he saw that could use repainting. He said that he'd write up as an itemized list so I could choose what I wanted to have completed. The list arrived by email the next day with cost associated with each item. The price was right. This folks is thoroughness, organization, and giving power to the customer. Other painters before Zach, I'm talking to you....is that so hard?!? Take notes please. Zach started right away knowing our deadline. He asked that I pick the colors. I didn't pick them on time, honestly. We discussed eggshell white everywhere but I didn't confirm. I'll get back to this point. So Zach started. I appreciate that he was a goal-oriented, meet the deadline kind of person not a time-oriented kind of person if that makes sense. He'd start at 4 a.m. on some days and work on weekends. I'm an early riser so occasionally I'd drive over to see progress and he'd be there at 5 a.m. or 8 a.m. with coffee. He brought in help when needed. He was responsive not just to me, but to my husband and relator. It was clear that he understood the heirarchy of decision making through intuition, however. Our relator would ask when he could get a room done for pictures and he'd adjust the goals in his head and calculate the near exact time it would be done. Remember the colors? My beautiful husband, pulled an audible. He said, "Don't we need some color, at least in the bathroom and kitchen?" I said, "Sure, go for it!" My husband immediately picked the colors with confidence and precision using a cute app that helps define this with colors already in the room. Great tech by the way. I gave him no input he was so confident about these colors. He sent them directly to Zach. Here's the best part. Zach contacts me, the boss, I mean wife, and confirms the choices. Every time a request came through from my husband or the realtor he'd check quickly through text, call, or email. I appreciate that. He responds well to multiple inputs with a cool easy and quick confirmation. He adjusted plans and painted using those colors. It was beautiful. Really stunning work compared to what it was before. I thought, I would buy this house again. My husband was right. Yes, husband, I announce your rightness in a public space. You were so right, babe. The house had showings all day the first day because of how those pictures turned out I'm sure and offers came immediately. Zach was the right decision. Make the right decision and hire this man. Period. I could have said that up front and stopped. This is why I'm not on social media, I can't write cute little statements like that. Anyway I hope the story matters....

Zack was a great choice for an interior painting job and we are very satisfied with the work product. We needed work done in 3 bedrooms to start and received a quick, fair, professional estimate. Zack showed up on time and had all the tools plus more needed for the job. Rather than making assumptions in haste and overestimating ability, Zack asked important questions during the job showing care and concern for the customer. Job timing was predicted correctly, protective equipment was used to preserve the environment and the work area was cleaned thoroughly. Further, Zack maintained an easy going, professional disposition. Upon successful completion of the first job we negotiated more difficult paint work. Zack used creativity and mastered the job with ease and efficiency. Considering all of the above, we highly recommend Zack and would hire again!
