I do not review services lightly -- only when I have a very negative or extremely positive experience. With Jenn, it was the latter. She is absolutely AMAZING! She has helped me through 2 moves now, and she made all the difference. Jenn accomplishes more in an hour than most people do in half a day. She has a sixth sense about where things should go and how to organize every room -- not just organize, beautify. My son commented that she is like an interior designer, but with your own stuff. On top of her efficiency and competence, she is incredibly kind and personable. I feel so lucky to have met her. Rarely do I run across someone so good at their jobs as Jenn. I cannot say enough good things; she is truly outstanding.

Jenn saved me when I was pregnant! She took complete control of my very crowded, one bedroom NYC apartment. Within hours, my home was entirely transformed into a welcoming environment for my son. After she left, I was filled with such a sense of relief and excitement. The magic about Jenns work is that she LOVES what she does and you can tell! She helps you organize and makes it easy to keep up (which I think is the real challenge)! Ive recently moved into a house and I am definitely going to be using Perfectly Placed.

Jenn is the ideal partner for any house organization project I could imagine! She is both smart and kind, in addition to being trustworthy and non-judgmental. She also somehow manages to be both easy-going in demeanor while proactive in energy - and best of all she is willing and able to do whatever work I needed - always with a "can-do" spirit and a smile. Additionally, I have greatly appreciated her timely follow-up and support in brainstorming my space and storage options. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At our consultation I will be able to determine approximately how many hours will be needed to reach your goals. This will be a rough estimate considering there are many variables that are out of my control. How motivated are you? How quickly can you make decisions throughout the process? How many other people will be a part of your organizing plan? (spouse, children, employees, etc.) And also the level of disorganization to start with. All of your questions will be addressed during our consultation together. I charge an hourly rate and offer discounts for 6, 12, and 18 hour packages.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I evaluate and determine the cause of disorganization and create an action plan. Each client has different needs and there is never just one answer but rather a multi-faceted solution. Most of my clients hire me to carry out the action plan which generally includes sorting, purging, zoning and organizing. Few clients may only desire “the action plan” and that’s okay too. I find that the clients that have me work with them throughout the entire process are less overwhelmed and happier with their outcome. After all, I AM a professional!
