FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe my pricing is pretty standard, as well as competitive. Because I am a freelance artist, I have very little overhead and answer only to my clients. I am more likely to offer a better service at a more competitive rate because I work mostly on-location, when I am not working out of my home studio.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication. I think it's very important to get to know the people I work with, and some of them I feel like I have known for years, just after a few hours! I pride myself on being responsive and helpful whenever a client reaches out to me. It's important to help them feel at ease and comfortable, because it's a huge responsibility to help make them look their absolute best! This is such an important part of working with new clients and being able to make sure you deliver a look they will love. If you take the time to get to know them, you are so much more likely to not only give them a look they are happy and comfortable with, but they will remember you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I think it's super important to stay on top of what is happening in the makeup industry. In addition to receiving my certification, I've attended Master Classes at the Aesthetic Science Institute, that focused on Red Carpet and Bridal Essentials, as well as an entire class that was strictly limited to the eyes. I also have access to Master Classes through MAC Cosmetics. Most recently, I have been certified through the Aesthetic Science Institute as an eyelash extension technician. I am always looking for ways to advance and expand my skills, in order to offer the best experience to my clients.
