Thank you so much for taking the time to review my portfolio, and for your interest in getting to know more about me. I have been a working professional makeup artist for more than a decade, and am excited for any and every opportunity to create and provide a great and memorable experience for my clients. Over the last several years, I have become the official hair and makeup artist for Lamont Aulet Photograph, a preferred vendor for Louis Torres Photography, as well as a guest speaker/educator for the makeup program at the Paul Mitchell School in Schenectady, New York. In addition to being a makeup artist, I have also designed my own brand of mink lashes that are used exclusively in my applications. I am also a published artist, featured in the Christmas edition of the NYC based Style Cruze magazine and featured writer and contributor to the StitchedNY website, as well as a featured artist in many of their editorial projects. I have also worked as an official hair and makeup artist for the OCB (Organization of Competition Bodies) bodybuilding shows held throughout the Northeast. I, too, have competed, so when I am not working you can likely find me in the gym! As a competitor, I know exactly what it takes to help you look and feel your best in order to stand out among a dozen other competitors on stage. I have traveled as far as Vermont, Boston and New Jersey to assist individual competitors who compete in other national bodybuilding organizations. I believe my work stands out from others because I am my own biggest critic, and will not rest until my clients are 110% satisfied. I'm kind, a great listener and I take direction well, even under stressful circumstances. I strongly believe in the quality of my work, whether I am working with a bridal party or assisting you in gaining more self confidence through your own image and wardrobe. My approach to my clients: First and foremost, I realize that there is a huge talent pool in this area that my clients could choose for these types of services. When you hire me, you're not just getting a makeup artist, you're getting a confidante and hopefully someone you can call your friend. I want my clients to feel like they can come to me at any time. Being accessible to my clients and treating them with respect, is exactly what I would expect of me, and nothing less!
