Jim Lepard Digital Imaging

Introduction: I am an award-winning professional photographer from Western New York. I am a 9-time award winner at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY. I have been doing photography for over 25 years and I have been a firefighter for 32 years (the last 4 being inactive life status), with this being said it, makes a perfect marriage. I currently do a lot of photography for the fire service, including the photographer for the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen, the Depew Fire Department, the photographer for the Renegade Drum Corps, as well as several fire departments in the area. I do not do a lot of fire chasing, but if I am in the area, I do make an effort to go to the scene and get some pictures for my brothers. When I am there, I usually take photos of the firefighters in action, and I am also thinking about the shot that I can enhance to really make it stand out in the crowd.
