Introduction: A Whole New You offers its customers personal training in home or at a gym facility. Gain strength, flexibility, build muscles, tone, and strengthen bones to avoid osteoporosis and exercise to de-stress. A Whole New You offers nutritional counseling whereby an initial health history is taken, reviewing the client's health and their families' health, as well as the client's health concerns and goals. Lifestyle counseling is an important aspect as changes happen when one understands the importance of how to incorporate healthy foods into one's day. It is not just about telling our clients what to eat, but more of let's learn together what you are willing to incorporate slowly and effectively into your lifestyle. A Whole New You nutritional counseling is very individualized as each client has different goals. We teach our clients how to incorporate whole foods into their diet. We do this by offering food store tours. We take our clients either to a local supermarket or a health food store depending on the clients needs. We teach our clients how to read food labels, choose healthier versions of foods they are already eating, and how to incorporate the most energizing and nutrient dense foods into their diet. We offer our clients hands-on cooking classes to help them learn how to cook some of the whole foods. It is a fun learning experience for them and they get to socialize as well. We also offer our clients a weight loss program for those who want to lose weight quickly and safely. A health coach is assigned to help you stay on your program and keep the weight off. Once clients are off the program, they can learn how to incorporate whole foods into their daily lives.

I HAVE PARTICIPATED IN SEVERAL NUTRITION WORKSHOP/CLASSES WITH LAURA. FIRSTLY, WHEN I LOOKED AT HER EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS I FOUND THEM TO BE IMPRESSIVE. HER PRESENTATION IN THE CLASSES IS VERY PROFESSIONAL , WITH HER SENSE OF PASSION FOR HER SUBJECT EVIDENT. SHE ALSO HAS A WARMTH AND CARING FOR CLIENTS, WORKING WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL TO DEVELOP A SUITABLE PLAN OF NUTRITION MEETING INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. I WAS UNAWARE OF MANY FOOD ALLERGIES I HAD AT THE TIME I TOOK THE FIRST SESSION. LAURA SPOKE OF THE MANY FOOD ALLERGIES , THINKING THEY DID NOT APPLY TO ME, ONLY TO FIND OUT LATER AFTER A SIGNIFICANT REACTION THAT I HAVE MANY FOOD ALLERGIES. SHE HAS BEEN MORE HELPFULL TO ME THAN MY DOCTOR. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER FOR ANY NUTRITION EDUCATION.

Laura made an initial evaluation and from there forward did as follows: She outlined for me the very important vitamin program that I required. Next she outlined the green vegan diet I was to follow - She also had me see the film "Food Matters" which I believe moved me to going ahead with the Program. She has encouraged me every step of the way. I have lost 10 lbs. and I am feeling less heartburn and less fatigued. Thank you Laura for your kind assistance in accomplishing this so far. To be continued.

laura is knowledgeable and always concerned about her clients' individual needs. she taught me how to enjoy new foods in new ways, which i continue to expand on, experiment with and enjoy.
