FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is flexible depending on factors like budget, location, size of wedding, time of year. I have a standard fee which I'm happy to tell you. I find that if you feel I am the right person to officiate for you, there is always a way to work out the fee. There is a discount if you book and send the deposit electronically.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-Communicate first by phone/email/video call. Find out which works best for you. -Meet in person or video chat. I meet with couples in Long Island and the two days per week that I am in NY City -I provide options and resources to plan the ceremony. I have abundant resources and samples to give you. Some couples prefer to leave most of the ceremony planning up to me and that is fine too.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years experience officiating at religious, civil and interfaith weddings. I have 12 years of seminary training and am validly ordained. I have lots of experience officiating in every possible venue: catering venues, parks, beaches, boats, churches, chapels, homes, my beautiful backyard and my living room :)
