What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Home repair and remodeling projects are not assembly line type work. Each job is evaluated based on the trades involved, time it will take to do the job, the degree of difficulty in doing the job, the work site conditions--- I could go on, but you get the idea.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We visit the customer's home and give them a written assessment of what needs to be done and the cost

Read trade journals.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Relatively recession proof and an opportunity to help poeple repair, maintain and remodel which is usually their biggest asset.

General Handyman jobs, and a full range of work in all the building trades.

Remodeled a bathroom. Two weeks
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As above, look for a contractor who is licensed, insured, guarantees their work.
