- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always wanted to work in the travel industry. I graduated top of my class from Wilma Boyd in Pittsburg the moved to Boston to work for Woodside Travel Management. After a few years I returned to Syracuse NY and worked for a couple of agencies. I was the manager for 5 years then opened my own agencies. I now have two locations in Syracuse that service clients all over the United States.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
About 50% of our business is Caribbean honeymoons and destination weddings. We assist in finding the proper place for you and your guests as well as activities and off location excursions.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We only get paid if we sell something. We do not travel for free. We do not set the prices of the vacations. This is done by the airlines and hotels then we either purchase them via a wholesaler or individually, which ever is best for the consumer.
