Introduction: I work with the mind and spirit as well as the body. When we change our thoughts and our energy, transformative healing happens. I'm always interested to hear people's stories. I'm constantly learning and when I see people learn how to change their lives it's magic.

Susan opened the path to wellness for me through nutritional and life style coaching. This included weekly phone calls, recipes, check lists, research of other world views through different cultures, etc. It was an all-inclusive program which I have continued through the last few years! Thank you, Susan. Noelle, COTA/L, Tucson, AZ

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Transformative changes rarely happen overnight, especially when they involve altering long-standing life habits. I will meet with a client once to find out what they need and give them a road map to where they want to go, but I usually encourage people to commit to a three month program so they get the support they need to make their journey to better health.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I read lots and lots of books and journal articles to teach national seminars for healthcare professionals who earn credits toward maintaining their licenses. Most accrediting boards want references no older than five years - so I have to stay on top of the research.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started working at an Easter Seals camp in Rome, Maine. I went on to study occupational therapy at Boston University and then when I moved to Tucson, Arizona I learned about non-Western healing traditions. I formally studied the neurobiology of healing rituals at Harvard and have been combining medicine and indigenous healing traditions ever since.
