Jason Lampert has given me great advice with my financial planning. Over the last several months, Jason has been an invaluable resource, helping me organize and plan some important financial decisions. Recently, when my daughter was looking for a life insurance plan, he patiently explained the ins and outs of various policies and that information has resulted in a tailor-made policy plan that has satisfied all her needs and has given her the peace of mind that she was looking for. On a personal level, he has also been invaluable in helping me set up a CSA fund for my grandson. Here too his advice and thoroughness was invaluable and helped me focus on my specific needs as well as the future needs of my grandson. I had a consultation with Jason Lampert when I was starting a new business in New York. I needed help with a business plan but I also needed help to understand how to manage my finances. Jason was great at explaining what I needed to do and breaking it down into smaller parts so I could understand things and manage them. He also suggested some great reading material that helped a lot. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the complexity of your household finances, I charge a one time fee for a financial plan which includes 6 months of unlimited financial coaching, counseling, and ad-hoc financial planning questions. After the initial 6 months, there is a monthly subscription to ongoing planning, which may be canceled at any time. After the first year of intensive focus on implementation, we have an ongoing service calendar to monitor progress toward your goals. Investment management is available, but not mandatory.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have several meetings to get to know each other before an engagement contract will be signed. During these meetings we will explore your financial situation, as well as your short, medium and long term goals. We will talk about what is important to you, and where you want to go.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2015. I have several years of experience as an AFC® financial counselor and financial coach as well. I believe in an integrated approach to financial success, looking at all aspects of my client's lives, including debt/credit, estate planning, retirement planning, insurance of all kinds, cash flow, as well as investing.
