I had hired a different make-up artist for my wedding day; when my trial came it was a disaster! I had high expectations of highlighting and contouring, and I left feeling so upset! I did a quick search and found Anastacia and as luck would have it, was available that day of my wedding. The trial she did was amazing! She came to my place and was so incredibly friendly and very professional. My trial was perfect and she totally was understanding about my OCD with my eyebrows! My wedding day was wonderful too! She came with an assistant, was incredibly professional, did a fantastic job on everyone's make-up, and it lasted!!! Her skills, friendliness, and very reasonable pricing makes it easy for me to highly recommend Anastacia. I look forward to working with Anastacia again in the future with our family photos.

Anastacia did the makeup for my wedding in Ithaca, NY, on July 26, 2014. She made me look so beautiful! She gave me that smooth, flawless look and used colors that perfectly complemented my skin tone. I received many compliments the day of and from pictures. She used airbrush makeup, and the makeup stayed on and was very comfortable. She spent three hours doing makeup for two bridesmaids and me the morning of the wedding, but she did two trials ahead of time for me to ensure I got the look I wanted. I have skin sensitivities, and she was very attentive to them. She was always on time, never in a rush, patiently answered all of my questions, and really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my makeup. Her rates are VERY reasonable, and working with her is a pleasure! She immediately put me at ease, and I felt like I had known her a long time even though we just met. She didn't meet my sister-in-law or future stepdaughter until the wedding day, but she did a fabulous job on their makeup. I highly recommend Anastacia!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
At one point in your life you should pamper yourself and have your makeup done by a professional. Having someone who will make up look as stunning and beautiful as you can be is a great experience. Brides in particular spend so much time thinking about their dress, hair, colors, venue, etc...yet they do not think about makeup. It can make all the difference on your wedding day and really tie the whole look together.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
A lot of people look at the pricing or cost of professional MUA services and cringe but in comparison to the cost of many things people spend their money on these days the cost is fairly minimal. You only get married, go to prom, take professional pictures once in your life and those moments should be special and you deserve to look your best for them. A lot of time, work, and products go into makeup artistry which makes up how the pricing in configured.
