FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

By far, the most common types of jobs that our company performs are lock repairs, installation and rekeying. Before our company leaves a job site, we make sure we have recommended any necessary hardware upgrades that would help our customer increase the security of their building allowing them to keep their property, tenants or employees safer. A simple upgrade that we recommend is switching from a standard keyway to an "odd keyway". What this accomplishes is it gives you the first step in key control without a huge investment. Most of the time, these "odd keyways" are not available at hardware stores or other big box stores which helps reduce(but does not eliminate) the chance of unauthorized key duplication. If you want to have complete control over who has keys to your building, contact us about a RESTRICTED KEY System.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The biggest advice I can give to potential customers is to research and choose a locksmith before they need one in an emergency. Any person I know I give a business card and tell them to keep it in their wallet "Just in case". Another bit of advice I give is to find out if the locksmith you are talking to can solve the problem you have. Not all locksmiths have the same ability. The last bit of advice I give to customers is to ask to talk to the owner. They will usually give you the best answers because it is their business, not just a job. When customers call Aaron Neil's Locksmith Service, more likely than not they are speaking with the owner.
