I can only say great things about Rosita. I found my wedding dress with only 6 weeks before my wedding. She took me right away and started working with me. We met up 3 times for my alterations and she had to make a few adjustments for my rapid weight loss. She also altered my wife's suit and she altered my veil and added a 5 point bustle for my long train. She also added a lace sleeve to my gown. The dress came out gorgeous and my wife's suit was completely tailored to her small frame. She made the impossible happen on such a short period of time. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and her prices are fair. We can't thank Rosita enough for doing a wonderful job in a short timeframe. Please hire her if you need alterations!

I highly recommend Rosita! She did an amazing job with alterations for my gown for a family wedding. The dress has a lot of beading and sequins so I was a little concerned if alterations would be possible but Rosita did a fantastic job and everything looks seamless.

I purchased a bridesmaid dress from one of those basic bridesmaid websites for a wedding I’m going to and needed the bust tailored to fit me. Rosita was prompt, not too expensive, and she did what I can only describe as a fantastic job. She was very professional and I felt very comfortable with her. The pictures are in very different lightings but I can confirm it is the same dress with me at the same size/weight, Rosita just did an incredible job.

Depends on the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speak to the customer to get a sense of their vision for the dress. Make suggestions, if necessary, based on my expertise and taking into consideration any budget constraints. Supply a preliminary quote based on our discussion. However, a more precise quote is given after a fitting with the customer and all alterations are identified.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of sewing experience. I respect tradition but do think "outside of the box" thus am in the unique position of being able to relate to a customer's vision.
