FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet to get to know each other and review my extensive resources for weddings. If this is a good match, there is a $50 deposit with the remainder due at the rehearsal or the wedding. We can use cash, check or credit card for payment. I prepare a draft of their service and send it by email. We stay in touch by phone or email before the wedding to address any changes in plans.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am part of an interfaith coalition. We support and learn from each other to understand and appreciate the diversity of our community. I graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in 1991 with a Masters of Divinity. I was licensed as clergy in 1991 and ordained in 1995. I have pastored a church in Albany, NY from 1992 until 2006. I am currently attending an American Baptist Church. I have supported people of all faiths and no faith in my ministry as Hospice Chaplain.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am retiring from full time work as a Hospice chaplain and want to use my skills working with people to plan their perfect wedding.
