FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always in search of workshops and books to keep up my education. This field changes at the speed of light. Not only do I need to know about photography and especially about portraiture, but I need to keep abreast of photoshop and current business practices. I currently take workshops online at night most nights of the week. I do not see that stopping anytime soon!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I create art pieces for home display along with folio boxes for pieces that do not go on display but are readily accessible for viewing. I also provide photography services for families, pets, children and glamour photography for women as well as weddings and events.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say be sure to look at their portfolio and make sure the style matches your own. There are SO many styles of photography, within each genre. Striking and dramatic, soft and light, so many different styles. Talk with the photographer, especially for an event. Make sure you get along, and there is chemistry there. You're not only creating a photograph, but an experience. You don't want to look back on your wedding day, and say, "I wish I'd went with my feeling".
