- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The travel industry is always evolving, which only increases the need to stay on top of all of the new offerings from every supplier and destination. It is a never ending process so there are limitless classes, webinars and seminars that I attend to stay on top of everything to better serve our customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It actually was the perfect match: The blend of the business world and traveling was just too appealing to ignore. So I picked up the books and did everything necessary to prepare for a job I truly love. Earlier in my life I would have never thought of owning a travel agency, but I am awfully glad I eventually did.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is the major misconception out there that using a travel agent would cost you more than if you booked travel yourself. I wish customers knew that utilizing the services of a travel agent will save them TIME AND MONEY. Especially when they conduct business with us here at Breakaway Travel Agency!
