Introduction: Hello! My name is Chiara, and I am looking forward to working with you. I have a master's degree in counseling studies, a master's degree in psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent development, a certificate in crisis counseling, and a graduate certificate in professional counseling. I have over 7 years of experience as a counselor, parent educator, anger management educator, and college professor. I have worked with individuals to develop career and life plans that include short- and long-term employment goals. I assist teens and adults, step-by-step, in identifying the career fields that interest them most, what educational or vocational training they need, and how to maximize their income potential within a particular field. It is often difficult to figure out what you "want to be when you grow up". I can help you. I have over 5 years of experience in employment counseling, including working as an employment counselor in the New York state. I would love to put this education and experience to good use by helping you. As a college professor, I often work with students who begin school without any idea of their career paths. It is normal. It is even normal to not be certain of where you are, or where you want to be as an adult. Many people are often stuck in a field that they do not love because they were forced to pick a job or major before knowing what they really wanted. It is never too late to change careers or learn more about yourself. My goal is to help you get to where you want to and deserve to be.
