How did you get started doing this type of work?
Math tutoring is not my primary source of income. I do it mostly for enjoyment and to keep my math skills sharp..
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Beware the academic that has no real world experience applying mathematics and insists on being so formal and for being so careful how they say things!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish people would show some interest in my profession. When I go to parties and tell people I am an engineer, their eyes glaze over and they change the subject (unless they're an engineer of course).
